We have some fun and instructive lesson plans, which include Common Core standards, available to download and use with our books in the classroom.
- This Stewie Boom! And Princess Penelope: Handprints, Snowflakes and Play-dates Lesson Plan was created for us by Madison March Hegarty, MHS CCC-SLP, the Lead Speech-Language Pathologist at Thrive Therapy & Social Center. It’s intended to help students identify and discuss elements of the story, identify things about themselves that make them unique among their peers, and practice interpreting others’ body language to recognize common emotions. Download here.
- A Stewie BOOM! Starts School Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten lesson plan, intended to help students identify and discuss elements of the story, as well as to relate Stewie’s first day of school experience with their own. Download here.
- A directed drawing lesson for younger students intended to guide them through drawing a Stewie BOOM! alien of their very own. Download here.
We hope you find these tools useful and fun! We’d love it if you drop us a line to let us know how you use Stewie in your classroom, contact us any time at firstname.lastname@example.org.
